Board members meet to discuss 2008 Grand Prix plans

DOHA, December 01: Qatar Fencing Federation (QFF) held an important meeting under the leadership of HE Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, QFF President to discuss the preparations for the forthcoming Fencing Grand Prix Qatar 2008, which will begin in January 2008.

It was the third meeting for QFF Board members and heads of General Committees for Fencing Grand Prix championship, Qatar 2008.

The meeting was attended by all QFF board members including; Mr. Rashid Al Mansouri, QFF Vice President, Mr. Saleh Al Hemaidi, Championship Director, Mr. Khalid Mohamad Al Yazidi, Head of Technical Committee, Mr. Khalid Sahnzour, Head of Financial Committee, Mr. Abdulla Al Ali, Medical Committee in-charge, Mr. Ali Al Mohannadi, Head of Marketing Committee, Fahad Al Mulla, Head of Media Committee, Ali Yousif Jaber, Head Of Public Relations and Transportation Committee, Laila Al Hail, Head of Secretary Committee, Mr. Mohammad Al Sahli, Head of Spectators Committee, Mr. Ali Belhaj, QFF Technical Expert and Mr. Essam Al Din Zaki, the Administrative In-Charge.   

HE Sheikh Saoud chaired the meeting and welcomed the attendees particularly Mr. Rashid Al Monsouri, QFF Vice President and the Vice president of Higher Organising Committee who has been recently elected as for the post.

QFF president congratulated QFF board, the technical and administrative staff of national teams for the excellent result achieved by Youth and Girls' teams in the Arab Championship.
