Qataris take five in Arab Championship
opener
 DOHA,
October 25:
Qatar fencers secured five medals on the opening day of the 14th
Arab Juniors Fencing Championship taking place in
Kuwait.
On the
first day of the championship, Gomaan Al Abdulla took gold in junior
boys category, followed by Afraa Ateeq taking bronze in junior
girls, Fatima Dahi Waleed gold, Nora Mohammed Al Hitimi silver and
Abrar Mohammed Atif bronze.
The
championship is witnessing 10 teams including:
Kuwait,
Qatar,
Algeria,
Iraq,
Palestine, Jordan,
Tunisia, United
Arab Emirates,
Bahrain and KSA. |
