Al Hamadi gets wild card entry to 2008 Beijing Olympic Games

DOHA, May 28, 2008 (Afzal Mehmood Shaikh): Qatar's ace foilist Khalid Issa Al Hamadi has received wild card entry for the forthcoming 2008 Beijing Olympic Games (BOG).

Al Hamadi wild card reflects Qatar's intensive efforts in promoting and hosting fencing at local, regional and international levels.

The Federation International D'Escrime (FIE) nominated Al Hamadi for the wild card considering his splendid performance in the recent competitions.
