Girl's foil team take bronze in Arab Championship

CAIRO, December 03, 2008: Qatar girl's foil team beat Jordan 44-39 in the bronze match playoff of the Arab Fencing Championship which concluded Tuesday in Cairo, Egypt.

The Qatari girl's team includes Ghareebah Dahi Walid, Noura Abdullaziz Al Kuwari, Noof Al Obaidli and Hayya Abdullaziz Al Mane.

Earlier, in the same championship, Qatar girl's epee team finished fourth, beating Lebanon 45-32. The team comprised Noura Mohammed Al Hitmi, Abrar Ahmed Al Atif, Fatima Dahi Walid and Fatima Marhoun Ali.

The Qatar delegation returned on Tuesday, after a successful participation in the championship, which witnessed fencers from different Arab countries.
