Qataris clinch eight medals in GCC Fencing Championship

DOHA, May 03, 2009: The Qatari fencers clinched eight medals at the 2009 Gulf Fencing Championship for Cadets and Junior that took place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

In cadet’s epee category, Hamad Mohammed Hazaa took bronze. Most of the mdeals were won by the junior team, taking six bronze and one silver.

Alongside Qatar, there were fencers from four other GCC countries, KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain, and hosts United Arab Emirates.

2nd Day: 4 Bronze Medal

3rd Day: 1 Silver & 2 Bronze
