Arab fencing championship achieved its goals, says Khalid Al Yazidi

DOHA, July 11, 2009: Khalid Al Yazidi, Director of Arab U16 Fencing Championship said that the championship achieved its goals.

The six–day championship witnessed participation of 11 Arab teams, including, Kuwait, Bahrain, Palestine, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Syria, Lebanon, Algeria and hosts Qatar.

Al Yazidi applauded the Qatari participation in the championship with the girls epee team taking gold.
