Qatar bags 13 medals in Arab U16 Fencing Championship

DOHA, July 11, 2009: The competitions of Arab Fencing Championship came to an end at the indoor hall of Al Gharafa Sports Club on Saturday.

The six-day event was organised by the Qatar Fencing Federation under the aegis of Arab Fencing Federation with participation of 133 fencers representing 11 countries.

In Saturday's competitions, Egyptian girls won gold in sabre, while Kuwait took epee and foil titles.

The Qatari fencers bagged 13 medals including one gold, two silver and ten bronze medals.
