Brigadier Khalid Al Attiyah honours Haya Al Mannai

DOHA, September 13, 2009: HE Brigadier Khalid Bin Hamad Al Attiyah, President of Qatar and Arab Police Sport Associations honoured fencer Haya Abdulaziz Al Manai of Qatar winner of bronze medal at Arab Fencing Championship.

The honouring ceremony was held at the headquarters of Qatar Police Sport Association and was attended by the fencer, Saleh Al Hemaidi, Secretary General Qatar Fencing Federation, Layla Al Hail, QFF Board Member and the mother of the player.

Brigadier Khalid Bin Hamad Al Attiyah stressed that the honouring of player is simple initiative to encourage young talented fencer and wished her all the success in the forthcoming events.

Saleh Al Hemaidi extended his appreciation towards HE Brigadier Khalid for honouring the fencer.

Al Hemaidi added that the QFF under the chairmanship of HE Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani is keen to boost its ties with Qatar Police Sport Association.

Layla Al Hail applauded the generous initiative of HE Brigadier Khalid and praised the Association’s initiative for Police Fencing Championship.
