Qataris bag four medals in Arab Championship

DOHA, April 20, 2010: Qatari fencers clinched four medals at the Arab Fencing Championship that concluded Monday in Egypt.

In men’s competition, Ahmed Abdelsdayem won sabre individual silver, while Noora Abdulaziz Al Kuwari took women’s individual bronze in foil.

Noora, alongside Mariam Ahmed Al Khelaifi and Ghareeba Dahi Waleed Hammad grabbed team’s foil silver.

The Qatari women also won epee team silver, the team include Fatima Marhoon Ali Al-Julandani, Hanadi Saeed Al-Yami and Fatima Dahi Waleed Hammad.
