Foil Coaching
Education course conclude

DOHA,
April 30, 2010: The Federation Internationale D’Escrime (FIE)
organised Foil Coach Education Course concluded Friday at the Qatar
Fencing Federation (QFF) training center in Al Sadd.
The 35-day course was conducted by the FIE experts with great
experience of coach education.
Qatar was represented by Abdulaziz Al Amoudi, Ahmed Abdeayem and
Fatima Marhoon in the 5 weeks teaching programme that consists of 30
hours per week and 150 hours over the 5 weeks.
At the end of the course and after a final examination an FIE
coaching diploma was awarded to all participating delegates.
The ceremony was attended by FIE and QFF officials including, Ivan
Pop, FIE Technical Director, Saleh Amer Al Hemaidi, QFF Secretary
General, and Khalid Al Yazeedi, QFF Assistant Secretary General.
The total number of participants at each course was limited to 20.
The FIE experts for Doha foil coach education programme were:
1. Hugues Leseur - Professor of sports, former foil champion, former
national foil coach in France, he created and established the famous
French coaching school in Chatney Malabry.
2. Petru Kuki – Professor of sport, former foil champion and former
national foil team coach in Romania and several times FIE expert for
international coaching courses.
