Five Qatari referees to officiate at 2007
Fencing Grand Prix
DOHA,
January 17: Five International referees from Qatar will officiate at
the 4th edition of Qatar International Fencing Tournament – Epee
Grand Prix for Men starting here from 19 till 21 January 2007.
The tournament will be held for Senior in Individual and team events
at Hall of Sport, Aspire Academy of Sports Excellence in Doha,
Qatar.
The five-member referees are Zamal Al-Shammari, Yahya Bahsal, Ahmed
Ghuloom, Khalid Suwaid and Khalid Johar.
Qatar's 20-member epee fencing squad includes Abdulaziz Al-Amodi,
Mohamed Al-Dossary, Khalid Al-Hamadi, Adel Al-Jilani, Jabor
Al-Mohannadi, Dawood Al-Shukaili, Fahad Al-Yami, Nasr Al-Saadi,
Mohamed Al-Tiri, Ahmed Amir Hossein, Mohammad Ahmed Basahl, Abdullah
Ebrahimi, Ahmed El-Siddiq, Saad Hamad, Ali Hassin, Abdulla Jamaan,
Mohammad Ali Mirzaei, Abdulrahman Najm Aldeen, Ali Ibrahim Sayari
and Abdulla Yahya Qasim.
The tournament is open for all fencers holding a FIE license for the
2007 season and/or those subject to a request of license made by
their federation.
ANTI-DOPING CONTROL
Anti-Doping Control will be done at the end of the tournament under
the responsibility of the competition official physician. The test
will be done for the 4 finalists.
The 1st and 2nd are tested automatically, one fencer will be drawn
between the other two semi-finalists. Concerning the Team Events,
the anti-doping control will be done on one fencer per team drawn by
lot, from each of the four teams having the best overall
classification.
OBSERVER
An FIE observer as well as a delegate from the referee commission
will be present. |
