Al-Hemaidi applauds Grand Prix progress

DOHA, January 20: Saleh Amer Al-Hemaidi, Secretary General of Qatar Fencing Federation applauded the organising committee's contribution in the success of the ongoing fourth edition of Qatar International Fencing Tournament – Epee Grand Prix for Men 2007.

"The organising committee of the 2007 Grand Prix has put in tremendous efforts in the success of the games here, I don’t think there was any major error whatsoever," claimed Al-Hemaidi.

Three-day event is being held at the Hall of Sport, Aspire Academy of Sports Excellence in Doha, Qatar.

"Aspire is one of the most excellent venues in Qatar for any sporting event, we were being fortunate to host the event in this splendid place, this is the second year since the event has been hosted at Aspire and it is amazing," added the Secretary General.

"As on the final day of the competition the organising committee has arranged for an official dinner for all the participants, guests and media personnel to see off the event," concluded Al-Hemaidi.
