Boys foil team seize bronze in Asian tourney

DOHA, July 08: Qatar boy's foil team seized bronze in team category at the Asian Junior & Cadet Fencing Championship, which took place from 2-8 July 2007 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Qatar thrashed Hong Kong 45-32 after a bye in the first round, they however lost to the champion Japan 45-16 to finish third.

Japan took gold after beating Korea 44-34 in the final.

Inall 10 teams participated in the team event, they include Japan, Macao, Jordan, Qatar, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Iran Vietnam, and Korea.
